And yes – I’m calling it that. I’ve never heard criticism from an actual American Indian (AKA Native American), that “Indian” was no longer PC. If one complains, I’ll revise my stance. In the meantime, the self-righteous can stand down. But remain on standby! No doubt there will soon be another topic on the internet that needs your counterpoint Facebook posts.
Meanwhile, here at Easement Acres, we have a harvest. As the tomatoes wind down, and the tomatillos begin to drop, we have corn. And despite losing most of the crop to midwestern wind, the final yield was still satisfying.
I will look forward to trying popcorn. Will they taste better than store-bought kernels? Usually anything homegrown does.
For now, they make nice autumn decorations.
